Free Ebook Support (...

I, too, was miffed to see the link to manybooks.net removed, but I found a workaround.  When you're in eReader and you click the + to add books, click eReader mobile site and it will open Safari.  Then you can type manybooks.net into the address bar and download the .pdb books that way.  They are saved into your eReader library and open in eReader.  Alternatively, simply open Safari and go to manybooks.net/m/ and you can download books to eReader that way.I'm glad I figured this out, because I've been using eReader since I had a Palm device and I'm used to the way it works.  I also love that it has a dictionary look-up feature.

I Love This Program!...

Here's what I did. I downloaded 2.1.1 and tried to open it and it crashed. I unstalled it and reinstalled it with the same results. Finally I installed it but didn't launch it until I restarted my iphone. It's worked great ever since. Hope this helps.

My Fav EBook App Aga...
By :
This eReader app is the best. I have 2 others, because sometimes eReader doesn't carry all the books I want to read. I love how you can see your status, what page you are on compared to how many total pages each book contains. I love the highlight, notes, and look up in dictionary options as well. After the 3.0 update, I wasn't able to download any of my purchased books to my iPhone, but I just received the new update today 6/25/09 and those problems have been resolved. Thank you eReader for listening. I am very grateful. You're # 1. AAA+++

Update To 2.1.1...
By :
Was getting ready to write a review whining about not being able to leave a book once in it and... Viola!.... Update 2.1.1 was available and the problem is gone. Nice app. Nicely customizable, too.

Glad to be able to use this again. No more issues with getting back to my book list. Now Kindle can go back to being used sparingly...

Thank You Fictionwis...

I emailed Fictionwise/Ereader on Saturday when I discovered the compatibility issue with the 3.0 software update. I received an email from them the very same day indicating that they were working on it.Here it is. The issue is fixed. Back to the great application that I've used since the Palm days (almost 15 years).Of course, I would have liked for the issue not to be there at all in the first place, but I can't complain about the developer's response and now the fix.Everything I am looking for in an ebook reader. This has it. And now that Barnes and Noble has bought them, I have seen the prices on some books go down. I expect that the books selection is only going to get better.

EReader With 3.0...
By :
Tips- for people who upgrade iPhone to 3.0, first uninstall and reinstall ereader, then you add your books back from your bookshelves and it will work like normal. I gave rating 4 because they didn't gave us the headsup or instruction that 3.0 will broke the application before the upgrade.

Far & Away The Best ...
By :
eReader is by far the best software for reading purchased books. Features unavailable on some or all other readers include the ability to enter & delete bookmarks; the ability to create notes tied to particular text locations; the ability to write directly into notes and to copy text into them; pagination and the ability to go to any bookmarked page; highlighting; variable font size & spacing; page-turn options and more. If a book is available for eReader I would always read it in eReader rather than any alternative -- and I use it for public-domain books even if I have to pay a bit for them. If I spend hours reading a book the superiority of eReader compensates for the small price charged. Some books are unavailable for eReader, so I do sometimes use alternatives - but only disappointedly.

Best Book Reader For...

My favorite and most used application. Has every feature I need including auto-scrolling. Fictionwise and ereader websites are great places to buy books. Now that it works for OS 3.0 I have no complaints. Hopefully Apple approves future versions faster.
