Solid Ereader...

If you only plan to install one ebook reader on your iPhone, then this is the one to install. It reads the most popular formats, gives you a wide variety books to choose from, and the selection of free books is astounding. You can change the font type, size, and color; paper color and texture; and more. I am actually reading David Copperfield on my iPhone. I wouldn't have thought it possible.
Good But Flawed...

I've spent some time comparing Sanza and eReader and I've come to the conclusion that eReader is the superior program.
Stanza is a strong app, but it has a few serious flaws when it comes to handling the library. First off, it uses a "dumb" sort when listing by author. Umm... Guys... H. G. Wells doesn't go under "H", he goes under "W". Second is that the app can't tell you as simple a thing a how many page are in a book.
EReader handles both of those things without a hitch. Come on, Stanza, it's not exactly rocket surgery.
The big advantage to Stanza is that it has more built-in sources for content; and in the end, of course, content is king.
Can Take 8+ Hours To...

Stanza stores eBooks in fully "exploded" format, meaning each book is decompressed into numerous smaller files. Because of thus, iTunes has to check every file before backing up. If you do a new backup at any point (perhaps the old one became corrupted) iTunes had to backup every single file. With 100 books, for example, (easy to do with free eBooks) you're looking at 15,000+ books and an 8+ hour backup. Until they fix this, I'll stick with eReader.

Best Ebook Reader On...

I downloaded both eReader and Stanza when I was looking for an alternative to Mobipocket, which had all my ebooks. Stanza wins because it's more customizable and works well with Calibre on my desktop for syncing books. Plus, it works with Baen's Webscriptions. Thanks for a great free app!

Like the iPhone, this app just does it right. No problems after heavy use on a 3gs. Access to free classics and more. It is a pleasure to have such technology. more features and easier to use than kindle.
Stanza Has Redefined...

I love one-handed reading while standing on the subway. I only ever get five minutes at a time to read, and I'm surprised how much of a difference it makes to me to have it always there by my side and always open my "book" to the right page--and the right paragraph. I've finished more fiction in a month than I usually do in a year.
I wish some of the bestseller selections were cheaper, but alternating them with free Feedbooks classics brings the average way down. I haven't experimented with the newspapers yet.
Night mode (I have it set to red on black) is really great for reading in bed.
Seriously my favorite app. I may never go back to paper.

This e-reader is a great application. I am still getting used to the controls and options, but I have already read three books in about a week and a half. More than if I had gone to the bookstore to purchase a paperback. My wish would be that the developers would make it so I could see the illustrations that are present in some of the printed versions.
Other than that, thanks for really good, and, I might say, free application.
