Unreadable Format???...
By : Bibliobibuli
Ever since updating to this new version, many of my books are showing up as having an unreadable format, including the one that I am currently reading. I am very upset about this, because I really like this application. Please supply a bug fix ASAP!! This version is no good!!!

Update Bug...
By : Roserio
Until the latest update, I was convinced Stanza was perfect. Now, I am anxiously awaiting the next update, where (hopefully) I will again be able to download new books from my computer. Let's hope it comes out soon.

Hands Down, The Best...
By : Rainmound
DEVELOPERS: make this app irresistible to teachers and students! Would love to be able to export ones own annotations in pdf or doc or text format, for printing so can bring to class... Or to a meeting... Or a lecture... This e-reader is easy to use, functional, and comes equipped with links to dozens of online catalogs with free books-and some with books you can buy, at reasonable prices. Recent updates have just drawn me back to the app. Fantastic work, developers.

Used To Be Great...
By : Paul-asdfghjkl
A recent update has it now reporting a lot of books as "unreadable book format", including books that I had previously read all the way through in Stanza on my iPhone. Also the "last five books" list seems to have gone missing. Other than that it's a great program.

Okay But.....
By : X_oh_its_electrik
there's not many books for teens to read. I love to read but stanza doesn't have many books that I'm interested in. it would be great if the next update would have a wider selection of books.

Wonderful Wonderful ...
By : Emberscript
Stanza is a WONDERFUL program, and I have experienced no problems either on my Ipod touch or my Ipad. However, I'd like to warn people NOT to purchase books from "All Romance Ebooks" listed in the catalog. It is a company for Ereader devices, NOT Iphone, Ipod touch, or Ipad. There are a few books that can be converted through Stanza desktop, as well as some downloadable books, but the majority of books are unlockable and the company will not refund, credit or exchange. Unfortunately there is no way to know which books are the secure locked files prior to purchasing. Please don't do what I did....find a favorite author; purchase a bunch of books.....and get nothing. The company CEO did apologize and told me that they have many free titles that should make me feel better about all the money I spent:) I have had good experiences with Fictionwise as well as Books-On-Board. So far all of their books were available to download and/or convert, and I was able to see the files prior to purchasing!

My Fave App, Hands D...
By : Hikethekilt
There aren't words for how much I love this app. I use it on the iPod touch and far prefer it to any eBook readers or other apps I've encountered. You can find books easily (and often for free) in this app, or sync over wifi and add documents and books from your computer. With this comes a host of other uses: I've personally found this handy for keeping track of college course syllabi and random other read-only files it was convenient to have near. The customization options are wonderful - there are several fonts and colours to choose from, including several textures that are easy on the eyes. I enjoy using various patterned backgrounds set to low opacity to break up the screen a bit. You can choose what controls cover what functions as well; for instance, I have my page turn set to a left-tap as I generally read left-handed and can simply tap the screen with my thumb to progress. 5 stars - great app. And it's free!

Wonderfilled!...
By : Imaginationiskey
It brought to life books on my own screen. Without the need to run to the library when I thought of a book I wanted to delve into. It was in my own personal library. I love how it has so many books which you can buy or just download for free. Also it has books of every genre I could imagine. I am so happy I found this app, I don't know what I would do without it.

Stanza Is A Great Bo...
By : Phoenixgenesis
Now that you can transfer books with USB onto your iTouch or iPhone, Stanza is worth owning again. I'm running iOS4 and have had no problems yet. I still wish that the app could support more formats. Having to convert my books to ePub is pretty painless, but still takes time if you have a large collection.
