The BeamItDown Book Collection uses a very different approach to reading that is absolutely ideal for the screen of the iPhone and iPod Touch. Other reader applications display the text of the book you are reading in individual pages. The number of words that can be displayed on the screen at one time is determined by the size of the font used. This forces you to choose between reading with a very small font size or using a large font and changing pages every few seconds. The problem is that reading with a very small font induces eye strain, while frequent paging disrupts concentration.

The BeamItDown iFlow Reader solves this problem by using an entirely new approach to reading. Instead of paging, the BeamItDown iFlow Reader scrolls text much like a teleprompter. Large, easy to read text scrolls by smoothly as you read. The precise scrolling speed is controlled by subtly tilting the device, which quickly becomes very intuitive and natural. You can personalize your reading experience by selecting the paper color, text color, text size, and the font that you prefer to create a truly enjoyable reading experience.

Needs A New Progress...
By : BookLover2k8
This was the first book application I downloaded onto my ITouch. However, I find I use it less and less because I can never tell where I am in the book. The progress bar that appears on the side of the screen is too diffiult to judge distance in the book and I find that it freezes some page turns take take up to 4 taps (or 5 seconds after the first task). I believe the selection of books is wonderful, but these two problems are rather large. Can there be anything done about this?

Amazing, However.....
By : EXPERT RATER
Since no DESCRIPTION of the book is provided, I had to open many books and skim/skip around some just to see what the book is about. Not only does this get tiring and overwhelming, but when I go back to the "shelf/library", if I may call it that, I see that I have 20 or so books open when I am only reading one. Please provide a way to CLOSE books because just because you open a book does not mean you will read it these are the only flaws and can be pretty annoying but this is STILL a  app and worth every star. It is great and o use it all the time. Go with the flow... I flow Btw Internet connection is NOT necessary as one of the reviews say. I use this app on the BUS and TRAIN. If anyone has questions or concerns please use @EXPERT RATER and ask away. sincerely a rater... EXPERT RATER

I love it! But it definently needs a 'favorite' button so I can re-read all my favorites more easily!!! Change this and I'll give you 5 stars!!

Much more convenient than having 200 books in bed with you when you're sick.

Great Books, Klugy F...
By : Too Sassy Texan
I would like to have a brief synopsis of each book. I prefer the "flipping" of pages, rather than the scrolling, which is disruptive to the flow of my reading. I dislike having to be connected to the Internet to read a book, as well as the LONG delay in opening the app.

Really Like The Form...
By : Craft Lady
After reading The Curious Case of Benjamin Button as a free book, I bought this. It is great, wonderful scrolling and it remembers where you left off reading. I am now reading The Count of Monte Cristo, a story book I read some 30 yrs ago.

Aesthetically Defeci...
By : JCZero
I really like this app. But it's so dang ugly to navigate. There's no thematic elements to it's design and the main menu and book formats are all very generic and uninspired. Good app, it just doesn't catch your eye.

Love This App...
By : Brownsie 2
I would give this app more stars if I could. I love having all of these books at my fingertips whenever I find some free time - in carpool line, waiting for kids at sports, long wait at MD office, even camping. I also like that I can read in bed without bothering my spouse by turning on a light. Great app, great price.
