I purchased RedLaser a couple months ago and removed it almost immediately because it didn't work well at all. This new update completely solves the problem, now that I don't have to push a button to take a photo it can accurately read barcodes quickly and easily. I'm guessing these improvements are due to some 3.1 features, but this product just went from a 1 to a 5 for me. Really convenient for product comparisons, it has found every item I have tried so far.

A complete waste of money if one is using original iPhone, unless one wants to type it in all the time. There should be a warning in the description that it doesn't scan.

This is the first review I've ever written on an app. This program is so practical and just simply brilliant. I not only scanned everything in my house with A bar code, I just took it to the store where I'm at now and I can't believe it. YOU CAN COMPARISON SHOP SO EASILY. This app is so worth the money. I love the iPhone

Since this last update... WOW! I knew this was a great app when I was able to scan the Iphone box & in less then 3 sec it came right up! GREAT JOB!!!
It'd taken a while but WOW it's really great to see this app work every time I need to find a price on a box w/o a price tag on it!

I never review apps but this app is so much improved from the previous version I found it necessary to write one. This scanner works 100% now. The UI is easy to navigate, it scans in literally 1 second, and everything runs smoothly. Reccommended to anyone.

I think this app is great to use, really fast on scaning, n it actually runs really fast on search n all, there's nothin bad about it, BUT only thing is it will be awesome if they made it can use your current location so you could look at around prices between the store around u instead of the online, it u ppls made that work, this will probably be the best app ever made

There's a new mode that lets you scan by just holding up the camera to the barcode, and you don't have to hold it so far away anymore. And there's a *beep* noise so it sounds like a checkout scanner!

Didn't work on my 3gs at all before the latest update. It took a long time for the promised update to come. But now that it's here it's great!! It scans fast and it's been 100% accurate so far. Love it!

Prior to this revision, a scan would take several seconds, the accuracy was questionable, and I couldn't always count on the results. Well, this update seems to have fixed those issues. Most scans take less than a second, and the products are almost always found. Great job with this latest release.
