Needs update for iphone 4 Retina Display. I like the large selection of books but prefer other ebook apps like iBooks and kindle for their updated display.

The reading interface is fine, when I can use it. I'm a proud Nook owner. Nook doesn't make me unlock my books with my credit card number and, frankly, the mediocre experience of reading books on my phone (which is mediocre with this app as well as Kindle, iBooks, and Stanza) is simply not worth the hassle. Make the app register the way the Nook does. My login info should be enough to read the books I've purchased.

I have had this app for several months now and it still works just fine for me. I've gotten the update and it still works. My question for people out there with an iPhone or iPod Touch with this app: why even bother with a kindle or nook? This app was free (at least when I first got it), and you still have to pay for each book you add with the kindle and nook as well as with this app. I can carry my iPod Touch around discreetly in my pocket or even a small purse and have access to all the books I've bought on the app. A kindle or nook, you must carry a bulky device (yeah, I know it's slim but it's still big) and there's really only so much you can do with it compared with the iPhone or iPod Touch. I just don't understand the reason for such a device now that this app has come out.

I really like iPhone app, I even like it more than the Mac application. I would give it five stars if it was native to the iPad and it was comparable to the bn pc reader which is almost as good as the nook.

Just downloaded it to my ipod touch and started reading my book. It looks pretty simple and easy to use. So far so good!
