Almost Perfect...

This is definitely not a concise dictionary. There are many obscure words and the definitions include lots of examples. If you want the best, this is probably it. Having said that, there are few things that could be improved: (1) Please make the icon more distinct. I have 4 other Oxford language dictionaries and they all say "Oxford" and look almost identical except for the microscopic font on the actual icon. Include the flag or something! (2) While it's great this includes audio, the quality is not very good. I don't know what format is being used now but maybe consider something like HE-AAC (or v2 when Apple supports it)? (3) I don't understand the purpose of the "Dictionaries" tab at the bottom of the screen, except to advertise other language apps for sale. We can already switch the language direction using the swap button. (4) Is it possible to include more US spellings? For example, I see that "color" is there but not "favorite". Thanks.

Forget The Rest, Buy...

I tried and wasted money on other Russian/English dictionary apps, but this is the one I was waiting for. It does everything I was wishing for...and more! The only thing I can hope for now -- an iPad version, at no additional cost. If you (developers) need a beta tester for an iPad version, let me know! :-)
