This is a true realistic dog fight sim. The control you have over your plane is amazing. You really get the sense of flight as you skim across the ocean. Great 3D free roaming dog fighter. Easily the best so far.
Needs Update

Fun to play but needs updates like multiple jets, differnt terrain, 4 player wifi instead of just 2
Nice New Air Combat Sim

Pretty nice as far as graphics and aircraft control go, though scenery could be better. Flying only over the ocean gets old after a while. Also, the enemy aircraft seem to be able to execute nearly impossible manuevers, like when they in front of me and they do a 180 almost in place and come right at me. They are also very difficult to kill. All in all though a great game, it just needs more tweaking to get 5 stars.

Very good combat simulator. Needs update though. Needs new kinds of terrain. Maby like a city where you could fly in between tall buildings like New York. That would be awesome. I'll give 5 stars when it's updated. Good game though.
Very Difficult Game To Play

Its difficult to see the enemy planes and it's really hard to shoot them down. Yes I set the game to the lowest difficulty level. The enemy planes are faster and move around with far more flexibility than you can move your target with iphone control. The game has potential to be a good one though, they need to make it a little more possible to be able lock enemy planes. Also it would be cool if the missles were smart missles that would follow the target a little and not just go in a dumn straight line.

This is a fun game to play. The concept and graphics are nice. Like somebody else mention, it needs some more stages rather only the ocean. The it is how hard to kill that it feels almost impossible.

this game is amazing! very fun and great to play with a freind over wifi! but I do wish you would make it easyer to lock on and aim (just make the crosshairs bigger) but other then that this game us great!
I've Been Waiting...

...for a game like this. It reminds me of a great WW II air combat I played in the late '90's (which was also only over water). Controls are easy and I found the radar pretty intuative. Graphics and frame rate are great. It's challenging enough to be fun without being stupid hard. 5 minutes and I was hooked. A pause button would be nice. I look forward to updates on this one.

Great Game, Even More Potential, But It Needs Desperate Substance!!!

This game has been well-designed, I mean, you can tell as soon as you enter the application, that somebody has spent time on it. The flight simulator is unchallenged by any app in the app store besides the X-Plane series. Every thing is structured perfectly, not to mention that its fun to play, BUT it lacks substance. Basically, the only thing you can do is fly around only above water and shoot at airplanes. Now, I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but the game just lacks replay value.Please give us more to do than just flying around on water shooting the same exact planes! I could see this for a $3 app, but this is a $8 app, which is on the expensive side for most games in the app store. If you look, the $8 games are the intense 3-D graphic games comparable to the normal console versions. Give us some terrain, it would be so freakin' cool to fly in between mountains while dogfighting fighters! My eye is twitching just from thinking about it! Not to mention, give us some other airplanes to fight (and maybe some ones to be too!). This game is perfectly set up to be the coolest dog-fight sim on the app store, it just needs some substance (missions, different game modes, different airplanes, and terrain besides water)!Fantastic game, but please add to the wonderful structure. This could absolutely be the coolest app on the app store with some substance added to it.

It's a cool game but the when you fire your weapons it's really hard to see them. And it gets boring after a while.

I Like Flying Aces Better

This is a good attempt at an air combat game, but I really like Flying Aces better. This game does have a nice skyline, but the radar is horrible. How on earth can you tell where the enemy is on it? I also find the game very difficult to play. The sound is "ok", but the guns sound like cap guns. Missiles sound good though.

Very good game have a cupple things that I would like to see in an update.
•new enviorment
•a customs mode where you pick the amout of planes ur vs ing
•and mabey a wingmate (because in true dogfighting you never fight alone

i spent 8 bucks on this app wat a waste, i recomend if u havent already got it, go get armaggedon squadrin its 3 bones and actually pretty fun to play.

as I was saying it's a good game and I would say that it's worth the 8 bucks now, instead of the 10 I paid. I give thumbs up!!
